The Berkeley Kite Festival is a two day long event at the end of July in which a number of professional as well as amateur kite artists fly their kites in Cesar E Chavez Park at the Berkeley Marina. There are also a large number of food and of course kite vendors. Parking is on the opposite side of the marina and costs $10 but a free shuttle is provided. Everyone is welcome to bring their own kite and join in the festivities.
